The prices
The usage fee is extremely cheap EUR 295.00 per room and month (as of
April 2024).
The usage fee also includes electricity, heating, operating costs, internet and 10% VAT.
- For initial registrations, a one-off administration fee of EUR 50.00 must be paid.
- When you first move in, a deposit of EUR 500.00 must be paid.
- The amount of the maintenance fee is EUR 50.00 p.a. and is collected for 3 years (EUR 150.00).
If you move out earlier, this will of course be refunded pro rata.
The prices are evaluated annually and redefined at the beginning of the academic year (winter semester).
Deadlines
The student residence year begins on September 1st. every year and ends on August 31st. of the following year. 1)
First occupancy (at any time)
In principle, admission to the UNIBLICK student residence takes place in the winter semester on September 1st of the calendar year.
The usage contract is concluded for up to 12 months (September 1st - August 31st), but ends automatically on August 31st of the following year. 2)
In exceptional cases, a period of use of up to 24 months can be granted. 3)

Extension (until April 30th)
You are also welcome to submit an extension request.
The deadline for an extension ends in the summer semester on April 30th of the respective calendar year.

Notes:
1) § 12 Paragraph 3 StudHG, the winter semester ends at the end of February and the summer semester at the end of July
2) According to Section 5a Paragraph 5 StudHG, usage contracts can also be concluded for a shorter period of time.
3) According to Section 5a Paragraph 2 StudHG, first-year students are informed that they have the right to conclude the usage contract for a period of 24 months.
